For clinics and laboratories

Confirming what someone reported

Self-reported health data is worth something. Self-reported health data with a clinician's confirmation attached to part of it is worth a great deal more, because it makes the rest measurable.

What a confirmation does

Every record on this platform carries the strength of the evidence behind it. A confirmation moves one record up that scale — and by anchoring a share of the cohort, it lets a researcher estimate how reliable the unanchored rest is.

  • Clinically confirmed. A registered clinician or a laboratory has confirmed the diagnosis or a key value.
  • Document supported. The participant uploaded a lab slip or a prescription consistent with what they reported.
  • Verified self report. A verified phone, all checks passed, and a history of follow-ups.

A record nobody has verified is excluded from every paid release. That is a rule in the code, not a preference.

How it works in practice

  1. The participant asks for it

A confirmation is never arranged over somebody's head. The participant agrees to it for one specific event — that consultation, that result — and agreeing once does not become a standing permission covering every clinic and every diagnosis.

  2. You see only what you need

The question put to a partner is narrow: does this reported diagnosis or value match your record. You are not given the participant's other answers, and you are not given a research dataset.

  3. The confirmation is recorded with its source

The record keeps the date, the verifier's role and what was confirmed, so a researcher reading it years later can see where the evidence came from rather than taking a tier on trust.

What we do not ask of you

  • No bulk upload of your patient records. Confirmation is per event, per participant, with their agreement.
  • No payment from you, and none to you per record. Paying per record buys volume and ruins the thing being measured.
  • No exclusivity, and no requirement to use Safebodi for anything else.

Not yet open. Partner agreements are not being signed yet — the research protocol is still going through ethics approval. This page describes how the mechanism is built, so that a clinic considering it can see what would be asked.
