What is here, and how to ask for it
Safebodi licenses de-identified data, aggregate insight and study access from a consented cohort. It does not sell patient records, and there is no arrangement under which it would.

These figures are read from the research store when you load this page. They are not a projection and not a target.
Any figure below 20 is shown as a range rather than a number, because in a small group a count is itself identifying. The same floor blocks any export or public chart where a group would be that small.
How access works
Every export passes four checks in code. None of them is a policy somebody remembers to follow; a release that fails any one produces nothing at all — no partial file and no certificate.

Ethics approval
A release carries a committee approval reference and a named approver. There is no path through the system for an export without one, and the person running it re-authenticates at the moment of export rather than relying on being signed in.

De-identification
Fields are an allow-list: anything not explicitly declared releasable is refused rather than stripped. Contributors are labelled with a pseudonym unique to each release, so two releases cannot be joined into a longitudinal record nobody agreed to.

Consent
Every row is checked twice — against what the contributor allows today, so a withdrawal narrows the release immediately, and against what they allowed when they answered, so a later agreement cannot license answers given under a narrower one.

Re-identification risk
Every combination of the identifying-ish fields being released must contain at least 20 people. Cells are counted in people rather than rows, so a long-format file does not slip past the floor.
Each release produces a certificate recording the cohort definition, the fields, the methods applied, the approval reference, the row count and how many contributors each gate excluded — so a release can be accounted for years later.
Not yet open. Applications cannot be accepted until the research protocol has ethics approval and the Data Protection Impact Assessment is complete. Both are in progress.
Data dictionary
The complete set of fields that can leave the research store. This list is generated from the code that enforces it, so it cannot describe a field the pipeline does not release.

| answer_is_reserved | Whether the answer was "I do not know" or "I would rather not say" (§6) — an answer, not a gap. |
| questionnaire_version | The version answered against, so wording changes cannot re-interpret old answers. |
| language | The language the question was presented in (§8). |
| entry_mode | Self-entered, assisted or clinician-entered (§8). |
Evidence tiers
Every record carries the strength of the evidence behind it. The tier is a statement about what was confirmed, not about how confident anybody feels.
